Frequently Asked Questions
What is the drone spraying price per acre for paddy in East Godavari?
Drone spraying for delta paddy in East Godavari typically costs ₹400–₹500 per acre. Large, level blocks on either bank of the Godavari spray fast, and village-level group bookings around Rajamahendravaram and Kovvur bring the effective rate down further. Confirm your plot in the CropWings app to see the final price and available pilot slots.
Is drone spraying effective for sheath blight and BPH in Godavari delta paddy?
Yes, when timed to scouting. For sheath blight the drone lays a uniform fungicide film over the canopy; for BPH, pilots adjust height and volume so rotor downwash drives droplets toward the plant base where hoppers feed. Treating a whole block in one session also avoids the patchy, staggered coverage that lets infestations rebound.
How quickly can a CropWings pilot reach my village near Rajahmundry or Kovvur?
Usually within 24–48 hours. East Godavari sits in CropWings' densest Andhra Pradesh operating zone, so multiple certified pilots serve the Rajamahendravaram–Kovvur belt in both paddy seasons. During peak windows — post-transplanting and after October rains — book a day or two ahead in the app to lock your preferred morning slot.
