Frequently Asked Questions
What is the drone spraying price per acre for paddy in Bapatla district?
Delta paddy in Bapatla typically costs ₹400–₹500 per acre to spray by drone — flat, contiguous fields around Repalle and Bapatla town are quick to cover, and a pilot can finish 20–25 acres a day. The CropWings app gives the exact price for your survey number before you confirm the booking.
Can drones spray paddy fields that are still waterlogged in the delta?
Yes — this is where drones beat every ground option. There is no trampling, no wheel ruts and no labourer wading through standing water, so pest outbreaks after heavy spells can be treated the same week instead of waiting for fields to dry. The drone flies a programmed grid over the water without touching the crop.
Does drone spraying work for brown planthopper (BPH) in Bapatla paddy?
It can, if done right. BPH sits at the base of the plant, so pilots use the rotor downwash to part the canopy and push droplets downward, with nozzle and volume settings matched to hopper sprays. Scout early and treat at the first hotspots — drones make it practical to cover a whole village block before hopper burn spreads.
