What to keep ready before you book

• Village, district and a field boundary or reliable acreage estimate.
• Crop, growth stage, target pest or disease, and the product label or agronomist instruction.
• Preferred spray date, access path, water source and any nearby houses, livestock, water bodies or power lines.
• A phone number for the farmer or field contact so the pilot can confirm weather and take-off conditions.

When drone spraying should be delayed

A pilot should inspect wind, rain forecast, field obstacles, people, livestock and the product instructions before take-off.
